Soga Nichokuan 曽我二直庵
Soga Nichokuan (First half of 17th century) lived in Sakai, in what is now Osaka Prefecture, and was the son of the well-known painter Soga Chokuan. Both Nichokuan and his father specialized in painting birds of prey and were highly respected and talented artists whose works are preserved to this day in major temples throughout the Kansai region in Japan.
